Can You Believe IPS?

IPS is holding a board meeting tonight on its proposed budget cuts. Does anyone else think it's a "coincidence" the Board is holding the meeting on Good Friday. We should start taking our issues public. What are they going to do, fire us?

Should laid off IPS teachers get together and form their own charter schools since this is the new reality in Indiana education?

What Layoffs?

Don't believe for a minute if anyone tells you Central Office staff are being let go. A lot of them are retiring and being categorized as layoffs. This is so typical.

The RIF notices finally came out. 271 of us are being let go. We will miss the kids, but not the administration.
