IPS is holding a board meeting tonight on its proposed budget cuts. Does anyone else think it's a "coincidence" the Board is holding the meeting on Good Friday. We should start taking our issues public. What are they going to do, fire us?
There is no agenda for this meeting on the web site. Think back to 15 years ago when they delayed the release of the agenda and tried to eliminate art, music and physical education in one meeting. What are they up to now?
How many meetings and how many administrations have come and gone? Does anyone REALLY think IPS is ever going to have anything even remotely resembling success? Don't you think if it were possible someone would have done it by now?
One of the comments taken from the Indy Star relating to above article: Since 1987, IPS enrollment has dropped by 33%. Over that same period, the number of NON-TEACHING administrators in IPS has RISEN BY 67%. For all the parents who are complaining about the over-staffed bureaucratic nightmare that IPS has become, you're absolutely right. State DOE Superintendent Dr. Tony Bennett has called IPS an "employment factory

Eugene White is so pathetic. How does he sleep at night knowing that he is destroying the very children he is claiming to save?
