Did anyone else hear that Eugene White is supposed to guest host the Amos Brown show one day this week? That should be fun to listen to; IPS B.S. is looking for a radio with closed captioning to understand what the hell he's saying.
Well, now we know the poster who mocks White's speech impediment is, indeed, the blogmaster. I'm not surprised. I'd bet $100 he's the one who posts the racist crap too.
Wow, seriously? Have you not anything else to do? Is your life really so uneventful that you're forced to sit around writing blogs, complaining about how ridiculous IPS is? Have you even said anything publicly about it? HA! I highly doubt it. I'm an IPS student and I don't accept this. No, I'm not a fan of Doctor White but I've had enough discipline to understand that writing blogs about him, HUMILIATING him is unacceptable. Anyways, all I really wanted to say is, IPS has some B.S., but it couldn't be half as bad as yours, and I really don't find your sarcasm funny. I guess you lack humor along with intelligence. :) That was fun.
I agree. This is no longer venting. This is ridiculous, and it makes a general statement about IPS teachers that is blatantly false. The negative, immature comments on this blog only represent a miniscule percentage of IPS teachers. It is a shame. This Blog could have been so powerful if used in a positive and somewhat professional way.
Unfortunately, the blogmaster publicized this blog as a forum for teachers and others with an interest in IPS. So now if we just stop coming, then the public's perception of IPS teachers is limited to the narrow-minded, immature ramblings of a man who has admitted he isn't even a teacher. So no, we can't just "stop reading it." We have to publicly denounce the things we don't want associated with our profession. Besides, sometimes, the discussions actually turn into something worthwhile, despite the efforts of the blogmaster!
I find the self righteous proclamations as offensive as the gallows humor, perhaps more offensive. Geez, if I were only half as good as some of you think you are. Too bad we're public schools and probably can't get away with renaming the schools for you when you are sainted.
Saying you don't want the public to think all teachers support making fun of people with disabilities is "self righteous proclamations"? What do you consider healthy discourse? Or standing up for what's right? Or defending your profession?
You know I am not a Dr. White fan in shape or form. I cannot waite till he moves on and we hopefully get a Superintendent that is worth their weight in action.
I though agree. Attacking someones race, speech, etc. Is out of line. I do not accept that behavior in my classroom and wish I did not have to read it on here.
Where is all of this indignation when Eugene White calls teachers uncaring, lazy, too old and unprepared?? When someone starts slinging derogatory comments like that then he/she needs to expect some bards in return. I think the new school board members may help eliminate the bashing of teachers.
Trust me, if White said that teachers are uncaring, lazy, too old, and unprepared, you'd see indignation! But he doesn't. He says MANY teachers are uncaring, lazy... And people jump in front of the target and then cry foul.

ReplyDeleteI hope the microphone is waterproof.
ReplyDeleteIt takes real courage to make fun of a speech impediment.

ReplyDeleteThis post and the tone of this blog is one reason I rarely read it anymore. It is self-destructing! Too bad, such promise.

Those who don't like this blog should simply stop reading it. That is a problem easily solved. Don't like it, don't read it!!!

ReplyDeleteThe blogmaster didn't start the mocking.
ReplyDeleteI promise.

ReplyDeleteNew topic--Have you noticed all the resignations from JMCHS the last two board reports and a firing? What is going on there?
ReplyDeleteChris Kunkel resigned?
ReplyDeleteDid you see the amount of money four Title I staff members are being paid to work one month in June?
ReplyDeleteSo much for intervention materials next year.
I saw that amount and it is outrageous. What justifies them earning in one month 1/2 of what some employees make in an entire year?
ReplyDeleteI'm available to sub for these Title folks.
ReplyDeleteHow much are they being paid? For what responsibility?

ReplyDeleteHe did not say that, did he?
ReplyDeleteOf course he didn't say that.
ReplyDeleteThank you, blogmaster. Seriously, I know you hate to delete stuff, but I think that was the right call.
ReplyDeleteBlog master White did say that at the meeting that was held last night.
ReplyDeleteP.S. the truth does hurt.
