YES!!!! I hope everyone has a great day of celebration. It wouldn't hurt if we woke up around 4:30a.m. and found out we could just roll over and keep sleeping! ( It's a joke. I know someone is about to lose their wig!)
I am going to bed around 10 (as usual). Even waking and driving in as usual (going to use the extra time to get ahead on lesson plans for the next month).
I have advocated being off because of the last time. The call was made even changed. Time for us ALL to live with it.
If I miss the second half of the game and then some drivers cause me not to work on Monday I will be mad.
Time management. Drivers should also do the same get to work and be ready to do their job just as I will.
Thank God for my DVR. We must all remember that the First Student drivers are losing their jobs at the end of May, regardless of what happens tomorrow morning.

Any predictions for a snow day Tuesday or Wednesday?
We will not close on Tuesday. The IPS bus fleet is an unofficial part of the snow removal break up fleet for the city.
Our heavy busses make ruts and break up hard snow as they go pick up the kids sliding around. The city needs that.
IPS upper administrators take pride in the fact when many others call for a delay we still go ontime. Look at the weather friday when we should have been sent home early as it was getting bad. My next door neighbors daughter did not get home till around 7 (when her bus dropped her off).
Plan on being in school. I am!
The dangerous conditions for the kids let alone employees who don't ride buses or park in garages never crosses downtowns minds at all.
hey coleman again, girls club plus one now, gagyi, powell, lewis, allen and johnson now have lunch 11"00 till 1"45. gagyi arrives daily 7:15 0r 7"30, powell close behind same time. lewis still 7"40 everday. leebrock, adams, daily 7:45 now watts in the club comes in at 7:39. why does powells nice, dashinee evans, get to get snacks out of teachers lounge, hang in office, play with school police then maybe go to classs? powell still going strong getting lunch, gone for 45mins, then comes back to building , girls club plus johnson eat lunch for 1hr and a half. i throught lunch started when you left the building . not when you come back with the food. this was support week. hell no one from support got supported. but wait till teachers week, there will be more food then the law allows. by all means dont forget principals week. all the club will eat real good. when will all the staff get treated the same??? never because we aint in the club. downtown please come and ckeck this bolg out. you wont be dispointed.
Sounds like sour grapes to me from someone who has finally been expected to do the job for which they were hired. It is pretty tough to take seriously a post full of misspelled words and incorrect punctuation and capitalization. Knowing Linda Gagyi as I do, she would welcome anyone from downtown or anywhere else in the district visiting anytime. Takes more than an idiot posting slanderous claims on here to shake her.
Yes it does sound like sour grapes, and just where does this girls club come from? Just because you sit and eat lunch does not make a girls/boys club and what the heck, wine me a freakin river about the support, who even remember support week anyway. I sure didn't!!! I previously worked with Mrs. Allen and I can't say she has ever abused time, she was always on time, plus stayed later then she was suppose to and very rarely took a lunch, so what if she takes a lunch with them. Get a grip people. Isn't there better things out there to do the try to ruin people.
The question I would ask of the individual who stands around and watches the time that staff come to work at Coleman, would be if you are watching them come to work and eat lunch when are you working? Maybe downtown needs to come and monitor the person who seems to be monitoring times the staff come and go and eat lunch!!!! Downtown please come and monitor that, oh yeah when was it ever legal for a person to actually place a childs name on the internet without the parents permission, I think they maybe able to be prosecuted for that!!!
