I have no idea who or what position Richard Myers holds in IPS. But this seems normal for IPS, give administration more money and the workers on the front line have nothing. We need to have a machine in place to vote out the current Board Members.
Richard Myers is a very nice man who is charge of facilities management, but a 21% raise is pretty hefty. Will the teachers get this kind of a raise or only administrators, silly question!
How is it that principals are always " finding money" for field trips, to pay staff for extra meetings. etc. If it exists, why not give it back to the district so the teachers can get a raise? To much like right?
Our raises went towards paying for Dr. White's and Dr. Johnson's clothing and traveling out of the country expenses!!! Tailored made zoot suits with matching shoes.
I think some news organization should investigate the travel expenses and perks paid to the administrators in IPS. While they are at it- check all the nepotism which is allowed by the do-nothing school board. The investigative reporters at 2 news stations have been contacted about this. Hope they work on it.
Richard has been doing the job of about 5 people for years. He actually knows and does his job. Idiots like Gene Moore, Jackie Greenwood and Kay Kelly don't deserve their positions or pay! Promoted beyond their capabilities.
